Credits & Subscription

VocalFlow bills by usage, in seconds of audio. Plans and quota amounts are listed on the pricing page.

Key points:

  • Your balance is the sum of two parts: a period quota that is granted each cycle (unused amounts expire at reset) and permanent credits that never expire. The app always shows the combined total; deductions draw down automatically.
  • Two separate pools: the voice pool for real-time transcription, and the file pool for file transcription (used by Voice Memo).
  • What deducts what:
    • Dictation — voice pool, by session duration in seconds.
    • Live Typing — voice pool, voice duration only (refinement is skipped).
    • Voice Memo transcription — file pool, by audio length.
    • Re-transcribe in history — file transcription, by audio length.
  • If your client disconnects abnormally, you are not over-charged.
  • Subscription-only: alternative refinement presets (closer-to-verbatim, technical) in the history detail panel. Presets do not consume credits.
  • A low-balance warning appears during recording before you run out; the account page shows current balances and, on the statistics page, this period’s quota progress and reset date.
